各位親愛的家長及同學：

Dear parents and students,

九月尾開始分級復課後，十月開始，LTY終於可以齊齊整整了，可惜內地的同學仍未能回港與我們一起上課，學校為他們安排網上實時授課，以免耽誤了學習時間。內地的同學要加油、努力，希望我們很快可以團聚。

Since the resumption of classes in late September, LTY is finally filled with orderly students again in October! It’s a pity that our students from the Mainland still cannot join our classes in Hong Kong. Fortunately, our school has arranged online real-time classes for them to prevent delaying their study time. Mainland students need to do your best! We will reunite with you face-to-face very soon.

在疫情期間，同學們都做少了做運動，看到你們都長胖了！我們的體育老師為大家找來「護脊先峰」，拍攝「護脊操」短片，為同學們作示範，以後，逢星期三及五的早上，我們都會在課室跳「護脊操」，家長們如有興趣，亦可跟着一起做。

During the coronavirus, students exercised less; I could see that you’ve become a little chubbier! Our P.E. teachers found a team of “Spine Care Pioneers” to create a “Spine Care Exercises” video to demonstrate correct exercise form to students. From now on, we will do “Spine Care Exercises” in the classroom every Wednesday and Friday morning! If parents are interested, you can do it too!

考試快到了，為使小一的學生家長可以協助子女準備考試，我們一如以往，於10月23日（星期五）舉行了一場「小一家長座談會」。家長反應熱烈，各人也留心老師講解，家長、老師也為我們的小一生努力，預祝考試成功！

It’s almost the examination period! To enable parents of P.1 students to assist your children to prepare for exams, like previous years, we held a “Seminar for P.1 Parents” on 23rd October. Parents were enthusiastic and listened to teachers intently. Both parents and teachers worked hard for our P.1 students. Here’s to a smooth examination period for them!

在10月16日（星期五）我為新老師舉辦了一個工作坊，主題為「教一課好書」，目的希望新老師能掌握在LTY的教學模式，工作坊內分享不同的學習模式及不同的教學法，希望新老師都能以有趣方法教導學生。

On 16th October (Friday), I held a workshop for new teachers. The topic was “Teaching a Good Lesson”. The aim was to allow new teachers to grasp the teaching mode of LTY. Various teaching modes and pedagogies were shared during the workshop. Hope all of our new teachers could use fun methods to teach our students.

今年10月30日（星期五）我們進行了萬聖節活動舉行，目的是提升學生的英語能力，你們在相片中能看到大家的喜悅嗎？

On 30th October (Friday), we had exciting Halloween activities! The goal was to improve our students’ English level. Can you see our students’ excitement and joy in these photos?
